Keith Forman started writing music in 1995.  After  high school friend John Carr heard some    preliminary ideas from Keith, they started recording. Fast forward four months, Keith and John released their first four song CD, however, live shows were few due to a limited amount of songs in their library and the band identity issue, trying to develop that perfect sound and gel a band. Keith continued recording and produced two additional CD’s, yet the effort to fit the band roster was still in progress so live show momentum was modest. However, patience and tenacity has lead to the creation of Liquid Island which became a very interesting live act.

Members included Chris D”Arienzo(bass/backup vocals), Bernie Owens(drums), Jason Forman(keyboard), Keith Forman(guitar) and John Carr (lead vocal/guitar). Now armed with the right ammunition, Liquid Island developed their first CD in 2010 called “Major Force”.

“Major Force” was exactly that – a major force to reckon with. It shows audiences everywhere the groups’ great progressive contemporary rock sound with a sprinkle of sophistication. It also sets the stage for a new level of rock music that audiences are pleading for a new refreshing sound called Liquid Island.

Their lead single which holds the same title is characterized as a “positive strength derived from integrity which spawns deep quality, “states Keith. When you know the forces are aligned, then power exists and that’s what Liquid Island had then and continues to build to this day.

Their lead single speaks of magical connections that can occur then touts the strong effects of the woman/girl involved with an overtone that’s ultimately positive as pertains to the future”, states Keith. It has an earthy punk/rock beat to it, but it’s not a typical rock beat. It’s new, fresh with a little bit of edge and a pure delight to listen to.

Liquid Island crosses all barriers, all generations and all genres. Their music is extremely catchy, with cleverly arranged songs with fresh new hooks blended to perfection for maximum impact. What an enthralling album! This is what develops when you combine musical intelligence and the knowledge to know what to do with it. Liquid Island’s dreams have come true. I look forward to listening to all their songs.

“Major Force” is being released fall 2011 thru multiple digital outlets worldwide including Amazon and Itunes.

Liquid Island has participated in radio hosting, interviews and live performances at WDVR in New Jersey. They have performed for Comcast telivision in Southern/Central New Jersey. They have also played RootStock Festival in 2011 with John Eddy in New Jersey. They are currently looking to expand their music performances as far as possible.

Liquid Island very much hopes to continue bringing performances that make people smile. An attendee of the RootStock Festival concert approached the band and stated: “Look how many people you’ve just made happy….please don’t stop what you are doing.” Now that’s Inspiration to create and perform!
