Space Travel is Most Existing and Adventurous Experience

Everybody is interesting to travel in space. Detail explanation about space station traveling.

Nov. 19, 2011 - PRLog -- There are still many mysterious things in space. For most peoples, the chance of live in outer space comfortably is still impossible. Maybe we know about Space Station, but sometimes there is little confusion about that.

Space Station (International Space Station or ISS) is an artificial structure designed by humans to live in outer space. International Space Station is a joint plan of few space stations, particularly the Russian Mir 2, Freedom Space Station that belong to United States and the European Columbus Orbital Facility.

ISS is a joint project of 16 countries including U.S, Russia, Japan, Canada, Brazil and 11 countries of the European Union. NASA, Russian Federal Agency of Space, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), Canadian Space Agency (CSA / ASC), Brazilian Space Agency (AEB) and the European Sapce Agency (ESA).

Space Station is located in orbit around the Earth with an altitude of about 360 km, the orbit is an orbit type was usually called low Earth orbit (the exact height varies around a few kilometers with time due to shuffle of the atmosphere and "reboots". The station was loses altitude of 100 meters per day on average).

the name "International Space Station" (abbreviated "MKS" in Russian) is a sign of an end to the dispute resolution about its name.

Originally called “Alpha Space Station” but the name was rejected by Russia. Russia then suggested the name "Atlant", which was rejected by the United States for fear of similarity with the name of Atlantis, the name of the legend about a continent that sank into the ocean.

A Space Station is not the same as the spacecraft which has a crew, because the space station does not have a major population or landing facilities. The space station has a vehicle that can be used as vehicle from the earth station and vice versa. The space station's rooms were designed to live in medium-term, for the period of weekly, monthly or even yearly. In other words, for long time!

The space station can also be used to study the effects of long term space flight on the human body and also to provide a platform for greater numbers and for the scientific research that has been available on other spacecraft.

Around 2010, the International Space Station provides extra rooms so that it becomes more widespread. The new space is equipped with a pair of very wide glass windows that make astronauts more comfortable in seeing the sights. Additional space is given the name 'tranquility'. Tranquility lifted into space and paired by giant robotic arms and controlled by two astronauts. Tranquility was taken from the name of a landing place on the Moon during Apollo 11 mission.

Additional space is in addition to functioning as a window of the Earth, and also equipped with a new home furnishings, sports equipment and special space toilets. This is closely connected with a recent development of future space tour that said a plane that can specifically take-off from regular airports and brought passengers from Earth into space, was believed by scientists to be the first space commercial flights within the next ten years. Wow, our dream to traveling to space, on regular basis from regular airports will happen soon!
