Palo Alto, CA (September 9, 2011) - Silicon Valley welcomed it’s latest Japanese import today as Tokyo-based recruitment company Wahl & Case announced the formation of a US entity in the home of global tech giants and world-beating startups. Incorporated in Palo Alto, California, USA on September 9, 2011, Wahl & Case Inc. is a 100% subsidiary of Wahl & Case K.K. in Tokyo, the global headquarters of the firm.

Wahl & Case managing directors Casey Wahl and Michael J. Case decided to invest in an entity on the ground in “the Valley” after multiple requests from global clients for more expertise in hiring in the frothy talent markets in the San Francisco Bay Area. The US entity is based in office space in Palo Alto, within walking distance of Stanford University and dozens of the world’s leading startup technology firms.

“Business is truly global now, and while our industry used to focus mostly on helping great consumer tech companies from the Valley find talent in Tokyo, we now need to help companies from Japan, Europe and the UK compete against experienced hiring companies in California and other key US markets,” said Wahl & Case Director Neil Warlicht, who leads all searches in the US market for the fast-growing recruitment firm.

Wahl & Case has been active in the US market for nearly 18 months, starting with staffing the first several key members for the San Francisco office of GREE, Japan’s fastest growing company and largest social network. The firm also established a beachhead for Ringier Studios, a hit tablet App startup based in Foster City, among other firms launching business in the United States.
