Local business celebrates ten years in industry

Nov. 17, 2011 - PRLog -- Local business celebrates ten years in ever evolving electrical contracting industry.

The last ten years has seen the electrical industry constantly change and the local company has had to diversify and grow to keep at the forefront of the industry.

Chris McCormick, Director of Root3, is delighted with the success; “The industry that we are in is ever evolving, when we initially started up back in 2001 the focus was on PAT Testing and over time we have had to evolve to stay competitive and successful. We now carry out electrical, fire alarm and CCTV work for a range of customers from small independent shops and businesses to large office buildings with corporate clients such as Aviva.”

More recently the company has seen a significant move to more energy efficient routes and the latest additions to their portfolio of services include the introduction of LED lighting as a cost effective and energy efficient lighting option and Solar, both of which reflect the change in customers needs as interest in renewable energy products and energy efficiency grows.

“It is a challenging and exciting industry to be in and I look forward to the next ten years ahead,” added Chris.

He believes that his base in Great Yarmouth is a great place to do business, “From our offices we work nationally with all our customers. Although we contract for companies all over the UK it is always nice to work with businesses within our local community.”
