Competing against thousands of entries from 18 countries around the world, Ms. Antaramian’s image of two little girls strolling together along a sandy beach captures the special bond sisters share while exploring the world together. “I am honored to win this award, especially considering the number of talented and widely recognized professional children photographers who competed” Ms. Antaramian said.
The blue-ribbon panel of international judges for the NAPCP competition was tasked with recognizing the world’s most successful child photographers. Images were judged on impact, technical merit, composition and creativity.
Well-known throughout Bergen County for her fresh approach to photographing families, children, newborns and maternity, Ms. Antaramian has many repeat clients who return year after year to capture the subtleties of their family growth and change. “They look forward to our sessions because we have a lot of fun, and I let the children be themselves,”
Her well-trained eye preserves a family’s most precious moments and emotional connections through laughs, hugs, holding hands, and just being silly together. “Parents always tell me that my photographs capture their children’s personality,”
Ms. Antaramian also specializes in contemporary and fine art portraiture using natural light in the clients’ homes or on location throughout Bergen, Morris, Essex and Sussex counties as well as New York City.
“I truly love what I do,” Antaramian says, “and as I’m driving to a location for a shoot, I often catch myself smiling because I am living my dream.”
Formally an IT professional, Ms. Antaramian founded Live Love Laugh Photos in 2008. She has been capturing families’ special moments throughout the Northern New Jersey and New York City metropolitan areas. Some of her clients come to her for family sessions from as far as Massachusetts and Virginia.
