Anchorage Realtor Dan Benton Announces New Website www.GreatAlaskanHomes.com

Oct. 25, 2011 - PRLog -- On October 24th, 2011 the initial re-branding of Dan Benton's website, www.greatalaskanhomes.com was completed. This new website contains more valuable information than any previous version.

There are now such features as informational articles about home ownership, special reports on selling homes, real estate tax information links, and MLS search functions.

The relocation information page is another new feature of GreatAlaskanHOmes.com. It's purpose is  to provide helpful information new Alaskan residents for their relocation to the state. It also contains links to military newcomer's guides for military members. Anchorage itself has it's own page separate from the Community Spotlight section, because everyone coming to any Alaskan town, will go through Anchorage to get there.

Also new to the website, the Community Spotlight section aims to showcase as many Alaskan towns and villages as possible. This section will be constantly updated and expanded as new towns arrive into the "spotlight". It also will house links to popular local businesses in each town, as well as local government links. Users are encouraged to share their links, information, and/or stories about their communities.

Currently, the town of Kodiak, Alaska is the featured community. Kodiak is an island town located south of the mainland. There are featured photographs tagged or geo-tagged in Google and Panoramio photo sharing widgets. As seen on the Kodiak page, visitors will be shown links to the local visitor's centers and tourist attractions as well. So, from Kodiak all the way to Kaktovik,visitor's to Dan's new real estate website will be able to get to know towns and villages all across Alaska. Viewer feedback on spotlight pages are highly encouraged.
