Sip ‘N’ Shop Soiree Event to Raise Money for the Rochester Women’s Shelter

Oct. 19, 2011 - PRLog -- Rochester, Minn. – TRIO announces the Sip ‘N’ Shop Soiree event in support of the Rochester Women’s Shelter to be held on December 1 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Rochester Golf and Country Club.
“This is our third event,” Beth Ebnet, event coordinator and TRIO principal, said. “Our first two events raised $2,000 for the Women’s Shelter.”
“Our event last December brought out more than 150 local women and more than 25 businesses focused on women,” Ebnet said. “This event gives businesses an opportunity to market to the local community in a fun and interactive way.”
“We at the Women’s Shelter express our deepest appreciation to TRIO for the money raised at this event,” Jackie Foley, Women’s Shelter, Inc. community coordinator, said. “What a well-organized and fun event.”
The Women’s Shelter, Inc. assists female victims of domestic violence and their children by establishing and maintaining a facility which will provide temporary shelter to these victims.
Tickets will go on sale November 1st. General admission for the event is $10 per person. VIP tickets are available for $20 per person. The VIP ticket holders are invited to come to the event at 5 p.m. to gain early access to VIP shopping. They will receive express entrance to the Sip ‘N’ Shop Soiree, a gift bag and entrance into the VIP lounge where they can receive specialty cocktails, beauty treatments, and have a private tarot card reading.
