IE Discovery and Jones Day to Present E-Discovery Sessions at ARMA International Conference & Expo

Oct. 17, 2011 - PRLog -- Austin, Texas — IE Discovery, a leading provider of comprehensive Discovery Management solutions to the legal community, today announced that Stacy Jackson, the company’s Corporate Counsel, will be presenting on two sessions at the 56th Annual ARMA International Conference and Expo. Both sessions are focused on litigation and discovery and both are co-presented with Marc Fulkert, attorney at Jones Day.

The session entitled “E-Discovery Case Law Update: What the Courts Expect of Your Search and Culling Efforts” will take place on Tuesday, October 18 at 2:30 p.m. and will summarize essential cases that impact records managers, explain the dos and don’ts of social network communications, and outline the tactics and strategies for controlling e-discovery costs and risks.

“How Opposing Counsel Uses the 30(b)(6) Deposition: Are You Prepared?” is scheduled for Wednesday October 19 at 1 p.m. and will help participants develop the skills necessary to testify about their organization’s records management and policies in a deposition. “The 30(b)(6) deposition can be used as a weapon by opposing counsel,” says Jackson. “The failure to provide accurate and timely information can result in sanctions against your organization.”
