Nordstrom hosts Pilchuck@Nordstrom Tweetup Event October 6

On Thursday, October 6, Seattle's flagship Nordstrom will host a tweetup event as part of First Thursday artwalk, (#PNTweetup). The event highlights Art Zone host Nancy Guppy and glass artworks from the 2011 Pilchuck Glass School Annual Auction.
 
Sept. 30, 2011 - PRLog -- Nordstrom Hosts Pilchuck Glass School Tweetup Event

Seattle, WA – September 30, 2011 – On Thursday, October 6, 2011, Nordstrom will host a tweetup event as a part of Seattle’s First Thursday artwalk, (#PNTweetup).  The event will take place at the flagship Nordstrom and highlights glass artworks from the 2011 Pilchuck Glass School Annual Auction.  The featured glass artworks were created by both local and international established and emerging artists.

Local “Art Zone” host Nancy Guppy will be on site to discuss the glass artworks on display and answer questions received live via Twitter in the window display on 6th & Pine from 5:30pm to 6:30pm.  2011 Centerpiece Designer Robert Stern, established artist Rich Royal and emerging artist Granite Calimpong will be in attendance.

The Q & A event is free to the public and celebrates Seattle’s local community by taking place during the First Thursday artwalk.  No RSVP is required for this free event. For more information contact slansberry@pilchuck.com or call 206.621.8422.
