The 2nd Annual Women In Green Forum Fosters Powerful Alliances Between Top Environmental Leaders

Top environmental leaders and educators gathered for the 2nd annual Women in Green Forum on August 30th & 31st at the Sheraton Delfina in Santa Monica, CA to discuss women’s impact on the environmental industry.
 
Sept. 27, 2011 - PRLog -- SANTA MONICA, CA, September 22, 2011- Clean tech financiers, corporate executives, technology developers, academic researchers and other environmental leaders gathered for the 2nd annual Women in Green Forum on August 30th & 31st at the Sheraton Delfina in Santa Monica, CA to discuss women’s impact on the environmental industry.

Over 300 women attended the Forum, including top business executives from Microsoft Corporation, IBM, Los Angeles Business Council, National Biodiesel Board, Chevrolet and Waste Management. Forum highlights included an insightful discussion between Ann Davlin with the Carbon War Room and Nancy Floyd with Nth Power, focusing on the challenges and opportunities of financing clean technologies and green energy. Alexandra Cousteau’s inspiring address, delivered via Skype during the Care2 Impact Award Luncheon, was an additional attendee favorite, centering upon the role of women in the environmental space. The Forum also included a Ride & Drive, providing attendees with the opportunity to take the latest clean vehicles out for a test drive, including a Chevy Volt, Honda Clarity, and Mitsubishi i-miEV.
