Sept. 27, 2011 - PRLog -- Active Risk (formerly Strategic Thought Group), author of award winning Enterprise Risk Management software  Active Risk Manager (ARM) has announced that the annual ARM User Conference is to be held on Tuesday October 18 and Wednesday October 19 in Dulles, Virginia. This year’s theme is “From Good to Great” and the event will bring together some of the region and the nation’s most respected organizations using ARM to meet their risk management needs.  

Don Yeager, motivational speaker and New York Times bestselling author will open the event presenting on the theme of “What Makes the Great Ones Great”. He will be followed by a series of presentations from risk management experts including Chris Mclean, Senior Analyst from Forrester Research Inc; Karl Davey, Risk Manager of the Year from Leighton Contractors and OCEG Fellow, author and advisor, Michael Rasmussen. Day Two of the conference will focus on case studies, educational workshops and practical strategies for meeting today’s risk management challenges both in projects and across the enterprise.
