Krys Wrights’ Metro Lovers Rises To The Top

Sept. 24, 2011 - PRLog -- Krys Wright has just released her debut EP – Metro Lovers, which is now available on Amazon and iTunes. Her music video “Too Late” was released September 16, 2011 and is gaining viral traction. The video can be seen here:

Starring Krys Wright and Anthony Bryce Graham, the video for “Too Late” was directed by David Odio, and Michael Coursey was the cinematographer.

Ms. Wright has spent the last couple of months locked away with producers Sean McCarthy (Jonas Brothers, Angelique Kidjo, Lola Ray, Ben Burgess), Jacob Luttrell (Cee-Lo Green, Enrique Iglesias) and Michael Wofford completing this EP.  Metro Lovers was mixed and mastered by Ken Townsend (New Genesis, King).

Born in Heidelberg, Germany, Krys Wright is of Korean and African American decent. Performing since the age of 12, Krys Wright spent several years in Busan, S. Korea performing throughout the country as well as Japan. Her most recent tour provided her with shows throughout the Middle East performing in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Beirut. Currently living in Los Angeles, Krys has performed at the Key Club, House of Blues, private events for socialites and charity as well as other venues throughout the city.

Metro Lovers contains 5 songs that symbolize one’s transitional journey of love, heartache and reinvention through chance meetings. "Metro Lovers" contains hit singles that are cross cultural and soothing to the souls of young adults, men and women from various regions of the world. Her debut single “Guess You’re Not Okay (Uh Oh), is a song about friendship post break-up. Other songs on the EP include, “Wouldn’t It Be Nice,”  "Too Late,"" Chosen," and "Broken St.”  Metro Lovers is a perfect EP to listen to after a long hard day at work, while preparing dinner for friends and loved ones, and during Saturday afternoon. The tone is uplifting and soulful.
