Sprint has teamed up with Boys and Girls Club of America, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and the National Education Association Health Information Network to provide 4NetSafety, a free Internet-safety resource for kids, parents, guardians and educators. In the upcoming segment, Ballard will educate “The Balancing Act” viewers on this innovative resource designed to help children – particularly those in the vulnerable “tween” age – stay safer online when using computers, phones and other Internet-capable devices.
“In today’s world, it is vitally important that our young people understand the difference between safe and unsafe online behaviors,” says Ballard. “Sprint’s 4NetSafety program works to provide children and the adults in their lives with age-appropriate resources to help protect against online predators, cyber-bullying and more.
