Wafa To Launch KA Band Satellite Internet Services In Gitex And GulfComms 2011 For Iraq And Libya

Wafa launching KA Band Satellite Internet services during Gitex and Gulfcomms 2011 , for Iraq and Libya starting from Euros 39 per month

PRLog - Sep. 20, 2011 - ABU DHABI, UAE -- In the coming Gitex 2011 and Gulfcomms 2011 Wafa is launching most affordable ka-band satellite broadband solutions for Iraq and Libya

These KA band services are targeted  towards consumers to corporate clients with starting speeds of 6Mbps x 1Mbps upto even 10Mbps and 4Mbps on the uploads.

Prices will start from only €39.00 per month as low as DSL pricing.

Dish sizes will range from a mere 80 Cms to 1.2M for some regions.

Also dedicated bandwidth packages can be designed specifically as per clients' requirements at fraction of the pricing on Ku band!

The Iraq services will be Iraq covering the Northern Iraqi regions of  Duhok, Erbil , Musel , Sulaymaniya and Kirkuk

The fact that KA band uses spot beams means makes more bandwidth available at fraction of the costs to the end-users

This new technology drastically lowers latency making it a very desirable low cost VoiP solution as well.

So its smaller dish size , more bandwidth and lesser pricing!
