Unleash your inner artist in Bali: learn to draw and have a holiday at the same time

Sept. 12, 2011 - PRLog -- The "Eat, Relax, Draw" Art Retreat is for anyone who would like to learn to draw but is too busy to attend art classes. It is a perfect opportunity to discover Bali, the “island of the Gods” with its breathtaking views of emerald green rice fields, lushes jungles and a unique Hindu culture, while a trained artist helps to master basic drawing skills. From drawing cubes and circles to the special shading techniques and portrait drawings, these retreats are the perfect learning ground for attaining new skills and to have a unique holiday at the same time.

The "Eat, Relax, Draw" Bali Retreat will run in 2 parts. Both are 8 days/ 7 nights, part one is for beginners and part two is for those who know some basics.
•   The first Retreat starting 30th December 2011 in the beautiful North Bali, continuing in the heart of Bali just above Ubud and includes excursions to the Les waterfall and to the Batur Volcano.
•   The second Retreat commences 6th January 2012, concentrates around the artistic Ubud, ends up on the shores of East Bali and has an exciting trip to the Safari Park (where the participants learn to draw live animals). There are also visits to the Tirta Gangga Water Palace and to a real Bali Aga village.
•   Both tours are in a relaxed space, includes most meals and sightseeing’s, so the participants have time to learn the different drawing techniques, soak in and appreciate the magical surroundings.

Retreat instructor: Eva Schumy
Eva gained her Masters at the Fine Arts Academy in Hungary, lived in Bali for several years, speaks fluent Indonesian and knows Bali intimately. She conducted many art workshops for different age groups and has great experience in helping students find their inner artist. Eva will take the retreat participants on an exciting journey with amazing artistic background settings: tropical jungle with cascading waterfall, swaying rice-terraces with waddling birds, busy market ....to see, to learn, to experience, to enjoy....She will make sure that all participants will leave with a toolbox full of useful drawing techniques and lifetime memories.
