It's Jazz That Rocks!

PRLog (Press Release) - Sep. 7, 2011 - Grammy® Award winning and Oscar® nominated songwriter/producer/guitarist rock legend Jim Peterik (Survivor "Eye of the Tiger," "Vehicle"--Ides of March) will be celebrating the release of his new CD JIM PETERIK'S LIFEFORCE-- FORCES AT PLAY.   LIFEFORCE is Jim's expression of music he calls "jazz that rocks,” reflecting many of his jazz, R&B and rock influences, coupled with his love of contemporary jazz.  The album, scheduled for release September 6th, on World Stage International Records\SMC Recordings distributed by Fontana, features many of the genres top artists including: Lisa McClowry, Steve Oliver, Mindi Abair, Chieli Minucci,  Jessy J, David Pack, Alex Ligertwood (Santana) and Steve Cole, among others.  For this LIFEFORCE engagement, he will be joined by vocalists David Pack and Lisa McLowry, guitarist Blake Aaron, Steve Eisen on sax and Sijay on keys.   Join in the celebration-- JIM PETERIK'S LIFEFORCE--FORCES AT PLAY.        www.jimpeterik'slifeforce.com
