Snowflake, Loveshadow Release Open In The Garden

Sept. 6, 2011 - PRLog -- Artistech Media is pleased to release 'Open In The Garden' by Snowflake & Loveshadow, two renowned artists of ccMixter.org. 'Open In The Garden' features thirteen stirring songs written by Snowflake, aka Emily Richards, touching emotions of love, truth, grief and optimism, combined with a shrewd reflection of trying economic and political times.  

“These little songs are my journal of the past seven years,” states Snowflake. “They reveal vulnerability, and I've been paralyzed in trying to release them to the world. That is, until Loveshadow saved me from myself, through his gift of intricate arrangements and production.”

'Open In The Garden' features the lustrous sounds of UK-based producer Loveshadow, aka Jeff Grant. Known also for his songwriting and musicianship, Loveshadow is undoubtedly one of the most notable artists changing the way music is created via the internet.

“It's nothing short of a musical miracle....two people who have never met and are thousands of miles apart, “ remarks Loveshadow. “Emily mystified me with her songwriting for Open – her chord patterns were often down tempo and filled with pathos but then lyrically there was always a positive story. That became the initial key for me to find that more positive overtone in all of the musical additions and arrangements.”

'Open In The Garden' is highly anticipated and the thirteenth album released by most-downloaded-MP3.com-star Ms. Richards, who began recording under the name Snowflake in late 2006.  Loveshadow first produced Snowflake in April 2009, and in the last year, the flames of their musical collaboration evolved to the album level.
