Ontario Bakery Offers - Don't Need Groupon Coupon - $5 Buys $10 in Baked Goods

Sept. 9, 2011 - PRLog -- At Ontario Bakery in Ontario, California and the Rancho Cucamonga Store, Ontario Bakery, Too, owners Chris and Cathy Fabos are trying a new idea.  Instead of paying a coupon company a big commission to distribute their coupons, they are taking to the internet to spread the word about their $5 for $10 worth of goodies September deal!!

Cathy explains the program this way, "We sent out an email to over 1000 of our best friends and customers to alert them to the deal.  We are putting up signs in the stores.  Then we are spreading the news through our blog, FB page, Twitter, YouTube videos and every other way we can think of."  

The Ontario, California location has been in business for over 50 years, selling 1000's of wedding, birthday, and all occasion cakes to their clients in the Inland Empire.  But Chris says that a major part of their business comes from folks dropping buy to buy a dozen cookies, some cake pops, or any of the dozens of other items in their display cases.  "September is a bit slow with back to school and all, so we thought we'd bake up a new scheme to attract new customers and thank the old ones during the month of September."

Most Groupon and similar offers tend to be half off deals.  Ontario Bakery is just agreeing with the trend.  "We have set up special number where folks can text us their name and email and get one of these coupons back instantly.  The number is 909-979-3832."
