Roy Cook – wine maker and proprietor of Sedlescombe Organic Vineyard seen here with German celebrity chef and restaurateur Sarah Wiener at his Bodiam Castle vineyard.   Following a successful week at the Wiesbaden wine festival as guest of the Rhineland town twinned with Tunbridge Wells, Roy had a visit from Sarah, who is pictured selecting his ‘Regent’  organic English red wine to accompany Sussex-bred beef and Whitstable oysters, in a meal she prepared at the Sussex Ox in Alfriston. The meal will feature in her food travel programme, ‘Sarah Wiener’s culinary adventures in England’, shortly to be screened throughout Europe.  Likened by some as ‘Germany’s answer to Jamie Oliver’ – Sarah Wiener has developed a reputation for combining her passion for travel and local produce in a series of ‘culinary adventure’ shows.
