"CANINE INSTINCT" Los Angeles Film Premiere

Nominated for Best Documentary Feature at the 2011 Burbank International Film Festival

Aug. 28, 2011 - PRLog -- Director Nicholas Goodman's documentary feature film, CANINE INSTINCT, will have its Los Angeles premiere at the 2011 Burbank International Film Festival at 1:30 PM, Sunday, September 18th at the AMC 6 cinema, 770 North First street, Burbank, CA.  Canine Instinct has the distinction of being nominated for Best Documentary Feature in this year's competition.

Self-financed, shot and edited against the bucolic backdrop of New York's Catskill mountains, the film is a home-spun portrait of an American original - dog trainer and canine Search & Rescue volunteer Kyle Warren, the Dog Man of Ulster County, NY.

Edinburgh's Scotsman newspaper called the film "a hit dogumentary" when it premiered in Scotland in the Fall of 2010.  The film has been in numerous film festivals worldwide and won several awards but this is the first Los Angeles screening.  "I am thrilled that the film will be shown in the movie capital of the world," says Goodman.

There will be a Q&A with the filmmaker immediately following the film.
