Everyone is a winner on element14’s Roadtest

Aug. 18, 2011 - PRLog -- 18 August 2011 – London - element14, Premier Farnell’s online community for electronic design engineers, is thrilled to announce that in response to an overwhelming number of applicants to its recent RoadTest, Texas Instruments (TI) has selected all 100 applicants as winners of the MSP-EXP430FR5739 Experimenter Board. The MSP unit is TI's first embedded ferro-electric random access memory (FRAM) based MCU, and is an ideal platform for evaluating the latest in embedded memory technology while allowing the user to easily develop, debug, and implement prototypes in an efficient manner.  

RoadTest is element14's innovative product review feature which lets engineers apply to receive hot new products the moment they become available. Winners receive a full version of the product and, in return, publish a detailed review on element14. New products are selected every two weeks, with multiple winners selected for each RoadTest. "Texas Instruments' selection of 100 winners marks the first time every RoadTest applicant has been selected to receive a product, and we're extremely excited to get such a hot new piece of technology into our members' hands", said Dianne Kibbey, Head of element14 Community. “It just shows again how element14 is an essential resource portal to help electronics engineers in today’s competitive market to stay at the top of their game.”
