Eyebrows Are Being Raised

Acclaimed Writer Challenges Religious Norms in Order to Educate
By: Brian Adamson

Aug. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- There are two topics that most people do not want to talk about directly or often, religion and politics. Stand out writer Brian Adamson has said, “Bollocks” to the religion topic taboo and is making waves with his new Religion & Spirituality page on Examiner.com. He is breaking down the barrier that separates religion from logic with both bonafide fact and a sense of humor that leaves even the most devout believer in stitches.

As the former religion professor at Galen University, Mr. Adamson taught his students to think about what each of the five main religious holy texts says and why much of what they say is wrong. His mission was not to break anyone’s faith, rather to further educate them on the context, the history and the truth behind each story. This motivation has lead him to take his knowledge and research to a new audience online in order to spread the message that one does not have to accept something just because others say so.

Having finished his first book entitled, “Why the Western World is Christian; Constantine, Colonialism and Culture” which is to be published in 2012, Brian has joined Examiner.com as their National Religion & Spirituality writer to quote,”free the minds of those trapped under religion’s perceived authority and illustrate how humans made God, not the other way around.” There has already been a mini uproar from some readers concerning Brian’s writings, yet more and more people subscribe to his page every day in order to find out what issue he has recently decided to turn on its head.

So far, no religion is off his radar and no story is off limits to Mr. Adamson. “I am not here to promote any sort of atheist propaganda,” said Brian. “I merely want people to think about what they believe in and why. If one believes in something and does not fully understand it, then what is the point? I am trying to force people to research their belief structure in order to make them stronger, not me.” Join the ever-growing number of readers who are following Mr. Adamson and see for yourself. It’s guaranteed to make you laugh and shake an angry fist all at the same time.
