Portraits for a cure Silent Auction Charity Event benefiting MS

Aug. 9, 2011 - PRLog -- Macomb, MI. September 17, 2011 – Todd Schaffer of Todd Schaffer Photography is proud to announce his 2nd annual “Portraits for a Cure” charitable campaign.  Portraits for a Cure is a non-profit organization that raises money for charities through session fees for photography.  Last year we rose over $500 for MS and $1500 for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  For the month of August, Todd Schaffer Photography will donate 75% of all session fees to MS.  

Also planned is a silent auction on September 17, 2011 from 2PM-5PM, located at Todd Schaffer Photography  16788 21 Mile Road.  Macomb, MI 48044, with gifts totaling over $9000 to be auctioned off from local bridal vendors and businesses with proceeds benefiting Multiple Sclerosis Society.  Tickets are $10 at the door, snacks and beverages will be provided as well as 50/50 raffles and door prizes.

Multiple Sclerosis is an autoimmune disease that affects the brain and spinal cord (central nervous system).  Currently, MS affects 2.5 million people worldwide, including 400,000 American’s.
