Camilla d'Errico Launches New Website, Art Sale, and Free Online Graphic Novel

Following a very successful showing at the 2011 San Diego Comic-Con, comic book and fine artist Camilla d'Errico has relaunched her website in order to prepare for the variety of new projects that will continue throughout the year.

Aug. 5, 2011 - PRLog -- Camilla d'Errico is known for her bright colors, expressive eyes, and masterful drawing skills.  Her new website, http://www.camilladerrico.com highlights her array of work ranging from oil painting to sculptures, toy customization and commercial illustration.

The website was developed in collaboration with Webebility Solutions of Vancouver and the team worked for several months on design and implementation. "We're very pleased with the positive comments about the site's design and functionality", says Camilla, "we wanted the site to be user friendly and for visitors to see all my work as easily as possible. I think we've achieved this!"

In celebration of the new website, and of the various new projects in 2011, all Camilla d'Errico mini-prints are now on-sale for a special 2 for $30 price. Details of the sale, as well as examples of the new prints can be found here: http://www.camilladerrico.com/blog/2011/08/05/camilladerrico-new-art-prints-on-sale-for-a-limited-time/

Highlights of Comic-Con included a great reception of the customized DIY Kuro vinyl toys based on the Tanpopo series, the successful funding of Womanthology, the soon-to-be-released Color Ink Book, the alternative cover to the Grant Morrison documentary Talking with Gods, as well as Camilla's unique take on the classic characters Catwoman, Cyclops and Phoenix, originals of which will soon be available for auction on the CBLDF's eBay page.

Although Camilla d'Errico and Bryan Talbot did not win the Eisner Award, both were honored to be nominated and congratulate the very talented team of Greg Rucka and Michael Lark on taking home "Best Short Story" this year. A full overview of Camilla's efforts at Comic-Con can be found here: http://www.camilladerrico.com/blog/2011/07/18/san-diego-c...

As announced in San Diego, starting Monday, August 8th, MTV Geek will begin running Camilla d'Errico's original series Tanpopo for free, releasing sections of the book each week on the MTV Geek website until the first three volumes are completed. Launched earlier this year, a new website dedicated to the Tanpopo series is available for fans to interactive with characters and learn more about the graphic novel: http://www.tanpopoandkuro.com/

Camilla would like to thank all of her friends, fans, and supporters who have made this year extremely rewarding in every sense of the word.
