Last Unicorn screening & signing event

July 28, 2011 - PRLog -- A limited edition Last Unicorn-themed scent by Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab, “Touched Twice,” will be available for four hours only. The scent will be for sale on August 6, 2011, between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. at http://www.blackphoenixalchemylab.com/lastunicorn.html. The price will be $26 per bottle.

Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab is a goth/victorian-toned perfumery with an enthusiastic worldwide cult following. Last year BPAL teamed up with indie publisher Conlan Press to bring fans “The Last Unicorn collection,” a series of 28 custom scents based on the classic fantasy novel by Peter S. Beagle and the popular 1982 animated film of the same name. Fourteen scents have been released so far and the third set of seven will premier along with “Touched Twice.”

Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab describes “Touched Twice” this way: as delicate as life, as gentle as death, and as powerful as love. Sheer, luminescent vanilla musk with frangipani, red sandalwood, frankincense, champaca flower, coconut, rose absolute, white cyclamen, Himalayan mogra, angelica, and white oud.

To celebrate the release of the third scent selection and the Blu-ray edition of the film, BPAL and Dark Delicacies Bookstore are co-hosting a Last Unicorn screening in Burbank, CA during the same four hours that “Touched Twice” will be available. Peter S. Beagle will be at the screening to meet fans, sign books, and answer questions.
