Free Downloadable Glossary for Printers of Variable Data Printing

PRLog (Press Release) - Jul. 26, 2011 - Variable data printing (VDP) requires a variety of skills not traditionally found in the printing industry: data and database management, basic programming and working with dynamic text and graphical elements. Addressing, mailing and more advanced marketing concepts are also frequently required with variable data printing. Digital Formatting Services now makes available a free, downloadable glossary to assist the printers of VDP.

“The new skill sets demanded by variable data printing can be challenging enough without having to wrestle with all whole new set of terms and terminology”, said Lise Svenson, DFS President. “We just wanted to make it a little easier for folks getting into VDP.”
