DOC NOW MEDIA, LLC OPENS FOR BUSINESS WITH LAUNCH OF WEBSITE
Award Winning Visual Journalists Open Doors of New Production Company

Founded in 2010 by award winning photographers and journalists, Jeff Johns and Ryan Loughridge, Doc NOW Media is a multifaceted visual journalism team. Specializing in an array of visual mediums, Doc NOW is part photo collective and part video production-company, delivering multimedia packages used by businesses, media outlets, organizations and foundations in today’s modern age. Doc NOW Media is based in Los Angeles, California.

Monday July 25th, 2011, will be the launch of the official Doc NOW Media website. The site will highlight works produced by the Doc NOW team. It will also work as an outlet for other journalist’s work, news articles, reviews and events. To view the website, visit http://docnowmedia.com.

The Doc NOW Media team works closely with clients and projects it strongly believes in. As a mission, Doc NOW strives to capture relevant stories around the globe. From business startups to worldwide health epidemics, Doc NOW produces interesting visual stories while doing so in a creative and passionate light.

Doc NOW Media, as a team will operate as a freelance production company. Its key projects will consist of micro documentaries, corporate video, full-length documentary projects, photo projects, portraiture, event coverage, postproduction editing and processing. Doc NOW will be targeting businesses and foundations for documentary style corporate videos. The team will also be producing photo and video content for media outlets around the world.

Ryan Loughridge and Jeff Johns are both graduates of Brooks Institute’s Visual Journalism program as well as alumni of the prestigious Eddie Adams Barnstorm Workshop. In late 2010 the duo produced a film documenting the plight of Leprosy in Southeast Asia. Upon their return they decided to form Doc NOW Media, LLC.
