Autumn's End Announces New CD Release Date

July 16, 2011 - PRLog -- After 4 years of battling tragedy, line-up changes and slew of other obstacles, Phoenix, Arizona's Autumn's End have announced the release of their new CD: "The Siren's Lament." Scheduled for a Nov, 2011 release, lead singer / lead guitarist Chris Cannella states: "We could have released this CD a while ago, but it wouldn't have been right without the whole, current lineup being on the CD...with their individual styles, to make it a true and complete band effort, instead of just one or two of us doing all the writing and everyone else just sitting around, not having a real hand in the writing/recording of it."

When asked about the overall tone and direction of the new album, Chris said "This new CD will be darker than previous releases and we are confident that all those who loved "Act Of Attrition" will love the range of music on this new CD as well, if not more."

In addition to Chris' regular duties in the band, after many months of writing and rehearsing the band asked him to take on production duties on "The Siren's Lament." Chris states: "I don't look at it as me producing the CD as much as I am being a coach to the guys to make sure this new album is not overproduced and truly sounds like us. I've been focused on getting better performances, not production edits; more of a live feel. I feel we are closer and tighter than ever, as a band on this CD and hopefully it will sound very pure and raw, like a classic metal album rather than a modern commercial production."
