July 4, 2011 - PRLog -- For generations immigrants were allowed to come in and out of our state to work to build communities while we benefited, all  of a sudden a law threatens their rights to survive as a human being.

The governor has stated that he don’t think the law has anything to do with the color of someone’s skin, I agree. It has everything to do with hatred. The government has always been against capitalism and even when republicans use soundbites that they are for business they are the very ones destroying them everyday.

The Hispanic, Asian population is one of the fastest growing  ethnic groups in Georgia and during the economic melt down, many businesses were saved by the growing boom by doing business with these groups. The governor wants to go back to the old south in a new generation where people have been poised for change.

Farmers are feeling a huge bite in profits as migrant workers flee in fear of being deported as the immigration law goes into effect. A part of the law makes it a felony if someone uses a fake id to look for work to feed their family, this is just “pure hatred” against a group of people that are living and striving for the American dream.

If this law goes into effect who’s to say that the governor wont pass a law to restrict women from voting, since they are one of the fastest groups of trending entrepreneurs.

The governor has no idea what helping businesses is all about. This law with kill over 50 percent of businesses in its first year alone, because it will drive up the cost of food since less will be able to be harvested. It will drive up the cost of fuel due to higher employee training and transportation.

The whole idea that the governor has proposed to have convicts do the work that the migrants will not be able to do is a completely ridiculous. These criminals do not have the work ethics, endurance and drive like the migrants who had much more to lose.

These criminals will not get in the hot scorching heat to pluck fruits and vegetables. They will go back to their lifestyle of crime which was more comfortable despite the risk

This will only drive up taxes for those of us that do pay. Appeal the immigration law and take Georgia taxpayers forward not backwards.
