Summer Concert Featuring John Slaughter and Opening Band Kimberly Dunn

June 30, 2011 - PRLog -- On July 8th, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Schertz, Texas will be hosting a Summer Concert in their Hall of Flags featuring John Slaughter as the headliner.  The opening act will be Kimberly Dunn who is a San Antonio hometown girl.  
Both bands are rising stars in the country music scene especially in Texas Americana Music.  The concert will start at 8 p.m. and the doors open at 7 p.m.  At 7:30 p.m., the Paws 4 Hearts will put on a presentation showing the training of the canine companions they have available for the Wounded Soldiers Program.  This concert is open to the general public 21 and up.  Tickets are on sale now at http://www.vfwpost8315.com for $10 each.
