Jeffrey B. Gould of American Claims Management Services Elected Secretary of NAPIA

June 30, 2011 - PRLog -- Baltimore, Md. (June 28, 2011) - Jeffrey B. Gould CPA has been elected Secretary of the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (NAPIA) by the membership at its annual meeting held in mid-June.  Mr. Gould is a vice president of American Claims Management Services, a public adjustment and loss consulting firm headquartered in Towson, MD that serves clients nationwide.  Mr. Gould has been a member of the NAPIA board for 3 years.

“Mr. Gould’s energy as an active member of the association has distinguished himself over the years and made him a valuable member of NAPIA,” said David Barrack NAPIA Executive Director.   “He has exhibited the highest standards of professionalism in all his endeavors. We know that he will continue to be an important part of our efforts to fulfill our mission – making the public aware of the valuable work public adjusters do on their behalf when a disaster strikes.”

Mr. Gould became a public adjuster in 1994 and joined American Claims Management Services after serving five years as Assistant Legislative Auditor for the Maryland General Assembly.  He became a member of NAPIA in 1995 and served on several committees.  He was asked to join NAPIA’s Board of Directors in 2008.  He is recognized by his peers for his thoughtfulness, knowledge and commitment to the association and policyholders in need.  In addition to his professional commitments, Jeff is active in his community and serves on several boards in the Baltimore area. He was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, and later graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. After his graduation from Tulane, he studied accounting at University of Baltimore in Baltimore, Maryland and became a Certified Public Accountant.
