Journeys are therefore currently hunting for suitable properties for these new franchisees and are asking for your help in the hunt. They are offering a £10k finder’s fee to any agent who finds a suitable hostel property that ends up either being leased or bought by a franchisee.
The properties must obviously be in towns or cities that attract good tourist numbers and Journeys are targeting the following areas: London (Zones 1 to 3), Edinburgh, Cardiff, Oxford, Cambridge, Bath, Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow, Newquay and the Lake District.
Furthermore the properties must be close to major transport hubs (bus, rail or air), have a minimum of 10 rooms or 6,500 sq. ft. , be close to historic and tourist centres, be close to major universities and ideally have ground floor frontage (or at least have potential for a separate ground floor entrance), both freehold and leasehold options will be considered…the hunt is on!
