By: NJ Center for Tourette Syndrome “We know the prevalence of anxiety disorders is not limited to the Tourette Syndrome community we serve,” said NJCTS Executive Director Faith W. Rice, “And we’ve designed this series to be applicable to every family dealing with childhood anxiety disorders.” The Anxiety Series will feature in-depth discussions on diagnosis, treatments and coping strategies for children, adolescents and their families. Speakers and topics will include: June 29- Social Anxiety Disorder - Dr. Daniela Colognori July 13- Developmentally- July 27- Anxiety Treatment Options for Kids and Families- Dr. Diana Antinoro August 17- Building Anxiety-Free Environments- October 26- How to Talk about Childhood Anxiety- Dr. Joelle Beecher McGovern Wednesday Webinars are available at no cost to families, educators, medical and mental health professionals. (Professional development credits are available to qualified participants.) Since 2008, NJCTS has delivered informative web-based seminars on topics related to Tourette Syndrome and its associated disorders to an audience that has grown to include all regions of the United States and eleven countries.
