Asset Conversion Services announces its value added Sun/Oracle solution.

June 22, 2011 - PRLog -- When asked what that meant Steve Harshbarger (media spokesperson for Asset Conversion Services (ACS)) was quoted as saying that they have become a full service hardware house with one large differentiator. We not only buy new Sun Microsystems Servers we now  buy used Sun Servers independently of trade-in.  He went on to say that in addition to adding the used Sun Servers to their current business offerings, they are taking it even further by purchasing used Sparc CPU’s and used Sun Microsystems memory modules. We know this is quite a change of services from what most re-sellers offer, but he went on to say that it was their customers who over the years asked them if they would consider offering this package option.
“We could not ignore the demands any longer and sense we pride ourselves in offering excellent customer service, we decided to launch our used equipment program through Asset Conversion Services” Harshbarger explained. This helps us to become a full service value added reseller and keep our customers happy while at the same time offering something that we think is needed. We have been involved with Sun Microsystems  for close to 20 years, we supported them even when it looked like they were just about done for.  During that time at least 90% of Sun’s VAR’s jumped ship and got on the Dell, HP and IBM bandwagon. We were fortune that we stuck with them as they are now in a much stronger position then before. Oracle really gave them a shot in the arm and they are back now doing what they do best…exploiting X86 architecture with a whole new line of robust servers ideal for serious on-line computing.
