Park Place Of Elmhurst Announces Ann Runkle As New Sales And Marketing Director

June 1, 2011 - PRLog -- Park Place of Elmhurst announces Ann Runkle as the new sales and marketing director for the Life Care senior living community sponsored by Providence Life Services, and currently under construction in the heart of Elmhurst. Runkle’s responsibilities include developing long-term strategies to attract seniors interested in the many benefits that Park Place of Elmhurst will offer when construction is complete early next year.
“We’ve received a tremendous response from area seniors about Park Place of Elmhurst, and excitement continues to surround the community as future residents look forward to moving to their new homes,” said Runkle. “We’re continuing to talk with older adults and their loved ones who are interested in a community like Park Place, and educating the greater community about the many benefits of Life Care.”
Runkle has been in the field of senior living sales and leadership for many years, and has vast experience in all stages of development, from pre-construction and construction phases to grand openings and operating mature communities. Prior to joining Park Place of Elmhurst, she was a sales trainer and associate director of sales education and talent development for multiple national senior housing developers. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, Ill., where she earned a bachelor of science degree in psychology.
When completed, Park Place of Elmhurst will offer 173 maintenance-free independent living apartment homes, as well as restaurant-style dining, a fitness center complete with an indoor pool, creative arts studio, media room, club room and ample underground parking. The community will also take part in intergenerational programs through a partnership with neighboring Timothy Christian School.  
In addition to residential apartment homes, Park Place of Elmhurst’s continuum of care includes 46 assisted living apartments, 20 memory support suites and 37 private skilled nursing rooms, all on campus, to provide services and support for residents, if and when they need such care.
