Follow on Google News | Intihar Returns to Johnstown PolkafestWestern Pennsylvanian native Jerry Intihar brings his lively show to the Johnstown Polkafest 2011.
By: jiband Intihar is sure to put on a lively show with lots of energy. This year’s performance will feature songs that showcase Intihar’s history in the music industry. Including a variety of ethnic polkas and waltzes, songs like the “Beer Barrel Polka” and the “Blue Skirt Waltz” are sure to be played. Intihar will also “dig out” some older songs that audience members may have forgotten about. The weekend-long Johnstown Polkafest draws over 10,000 people from all across the United States. There is no admission fee and all parking is free. Shuttle busses will also be available to transport people to St. Mary’s Pavilion. # # # About the Jerry Intihar Band: With a combined 100 years of performing experience, the Jerry Intihar Band is known world-wide for continuing the polka tradition.
