What is a Boudoir Marathon?

May 22, 2011 - PRLog -- The marathons are scheduled in cities around the country in a fancy hotel room some with in room tubs or local photography studios. Many women like to schedule marathon sessions because the fancy room, and then they also have the opportunity to schedule back-to-back sessions with their girlfriends!

Marathons are set up so that we can do multiple shoots in one day which allows us to offer you a budget friendly price.

I pick out the hotels with plenty of shooting room or a local photography studio and then plan out a schedule of 1-1/2 hour slots throughout the day. I do 1-1/2 hour time slots so my clients can walk in, relax, and have fun. I want there to be enough time for hair and makeup, and then have fun without anyone feeling rushed at all.

When a client walks in the door, she gets her hair and makeup done by a local professional hair and makeup artist. I also send out an email beforehand that many of my clients find extremely helpful – this also helps me tailor the shoot to each individual. Some women just leave it up to me, and others have very specific idea, such as a VA VA Voom Betty Paige pin up shoot. Either way is great!

I want every shoot to be the most relaxed, fun, and enjoyable experience it can be!
Many women mention how hard it is for them to relax for the shoot. I will admit that most of my clients do feel a little nervous until they meet me. Once they meet me, we start chatting and working together, they always tell me they feel so at ease. Although you have nothing to be nervous about, I still work to calm your nerves as much as possible. I have some music playing, we listen to fun music clients can also bring in their favorite artist and we have a FUN time capturing beautiful portraits!
