DocSolid and Worldox Presidents to Present at Association of Legal Administrators 2011 Conference

May 20, 2011 - PRLog -- ORLANDO, Fla. – What happens when the unmanaged scanning of paper documents infects your organization? The result can be a paper scanning free-for-all called scanarchy, which devours valuable billing and IT time while stripping a law firm’s efficiency.

In order to raise awareness of the pitfalls of scanarchy, Steve Irons, president of DocSolid, and Ray Zwiefelhofer, president of World Software Corporation, will unite for a presentation titled, “From Scanarchy to Best Practices Scanning for Law Firms,” at the ALA 2011 conference on Monday, May 23, at 11:30 a.m. ET.

Scanning paper in law firms is an information management process. The process needs to reliably connect scanned images with the firm’s document management system and apply best practice methods to ensure productivity and accuracy. The presentation will explore the challenges and solutions for firm-wide scanning, with a best practice approach utilizing Airmail2 and Worldox.

DocSolid and Worldox recently announced the integration of their two solutions: cloud-based Airmail2 and the Worldox Document Management System. Worldox Airmail2 is scheduled for release in June 2011. Worldox Airmail2 will scan images to the law firm’s local Worldox document management system without the implementation of additional software, hardware or complicated procedures.

The two presenters bring a wealth of experience to the discussion. Irons has founded three document imaging ventures (including DocSolid) and has more than 20 years of experience in solving paper management problems. Zwiefelhofer is an industry veteran focused on document management and he has held executive positions in legal technology firms for more than 20 years.
