The campus is a central location for environmental research, advocacy, wildlife rehabilitation and education programs, as well as an interactive nature destination. The new Dalton Discovery Center has been designed by the famed architectural firm Cambridge 7 Associates and will showcase Southwest Florida’s unique natural ecosystems. The state of the art facility will incorporate a world class public aquarium, aquatic exhibits and reptile habitats where visitors will meet fascinating creatures such as the American Alligator, Loggerhead Sea Turtles, Pine Snakes, Gopher Tortoises and more. In addition to the public aquarium exhibits, exciting interactive and multimedia displays will engage and entertain visitors at the multi-million dollar facility.
