About the Author: After leaving the Marine Corps, Lowell Thomas Mills entered the world of broadcasting. He started as a rock DJ in Kentucky, reached the big time in Atlanta, and then moved to television in the ‘60s and into remote TV for the last 30 years. Mills served as vice president for a major broadcast corporation, danced with Olivia Newton John, covered World Series and Super Bowls, and won an Emmy.
