Tea Party litmus test for Republican candidates

May 15, 2011 - PRLog -- To have the greatest possible impact on the elections of 2012 and beyond, and to advance our goal of taking our country back the Tea Party will be applying a litmus test to candidates, potential candidates and even Republican Party functionaries.

This test is designed to weed out those false conservatives, commonly known as “Republicans in Name Only” or “RINOS” and who have boarded the Tea Party Express in order to take advantage of the movement as a vehicle for gaining votes.

The Tea Party is a movement centered on the re-application of constitutionally based, representative government to the United States.  It is centered on the idea of maximum personal freedom – including economic freedom, balanced with the minimum needs of an orderly and secure society.

The candidates that will be backed by the Tea Party in the coming Republican Primaries and Caucuses, at all levels of the ticket, will be those who agree with the fewest statements in a list of ideas that typify the extreme ideology of the exclusive political and media elite currently in power.

The test includes statements on taxation, government, national security, economic policy and others designed to cull fake Tea Party Conservatives from the primaries and produce an acceptable candidate to run in the general election against the democrat.
