Luv Shack Ranch Horse Rescue Hosts Their Annual Summer Kids Camp

May 7, 2011 - PRLog -- CAVE CREEK AZ. LUV Shack Ranch Horse Rescue announces open enrollment for the 2011 Summer Kids Camp Program.  The program will be held at our new location at Rockaway Hills Ranch in Cave Creek, Arizona.  “I LUV this program!”  states LUV Shack founder Joey Ogburn.  “I get to see the kids and the horses not only both healing each other but actually having fun with each other.”  

There will be 4 sessions to learn or brush up on the basics

•   horse safety
•   horsemanship
•   riding
•   grooming

There will be haltering, saddling, and riding bareback. And my own personal favorite part of each camp is that we end each session with the Extreme Cowboy Race and parents are invited to watch. Joey shares “I won’t share the details; the kids will want to experience this with ALL the surprises first hand!”  

Session 1 June 6 - 10
Session 2, June 20 - 24
Session 3 July 4 - 8
Session 4 July 18 – 22

Sessions are from 7am-1pm daily and the cost is a $250 per child per session or $50 per day. Participants may bring a bag lunch; snacks and water will be provided.

The Luv Shack Ranch Horse Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit that is a 100% volunteer run organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of abused, neglected and slaughter-bound horses with the ultimate goal of finding each animal a loving, forever home. Additionally, we are committed to creating therapeutic programs for at risk children to help them heal from similar circumstances.
