SafeAuto Debuts “Information Highway” Newscast

May 6, 2011 - PRLog -- Columbus, OH  -- SafeAuto Insurance Company, a Columbus, Ohio-based auto insurance company, is proud to announce the launch of its online newscast, “Information Highway.” Distributed on YouTube for both English and Spanish speaking audiences, Information Highway is a video program detailing the latest information and news about SafeAuto.

Information Highway offers a quick and entertaining summary of the latest happenings found on SafeAuto's blog, Twitter, and Facebook feeds. These videos will keep everyone informed of the exciting activities in which SafeAuto is involved. ”Over the years, SafeAuto has embraced and sponsored the most visible and successful sports and recreational properties in America including, MLB, NFL, NBA, Monster Truck, UFC and NASCAR. Our research shows our targeted audiences love these associations!” President Jon Diamond stated. “We always look for ways to form a stronger connection to our customers and our associates,” Diamond added.

The newscast is developed and produced by SafeAuto's Emerging Media Department. Videographer Jason Parks anchors and edits the program while Doug Mason, SafeAuto’s Manager of Emerging Media, serves as the producer. Information Highway is shot in the state-of-the-art SafeAuto Studio set at TV Azteca in Columbus, Ohio. The release can be found exclusively on SafeAuto's YouTube channel. In addition, a Spanish newscast is anchored by TV Azteca’s own Luis Orozco and released with the English broadcast for SafeAuto's Spanish-speaking audience.

Why “Information Highway?”  It was the result of a company-wide naming contest. Media Buyer Casey Hauck came up with the winning name, taking home $100.00 and bragging rights for his idea.

The newest edition of Information Highway can always be found at http://www.youtube.com/legalforless, along with SafeAuto's advertisements, public service announcements, and videos of its sponsored athletes. The newscast is also distributed to SafeAuto’s intranet for viewing by employees.
