Located next to the Houses of Parliament in the heart of London, Westminster Abbey is a gothic monastery church and place of worship. The buiding of the present Abbey was started by King Henry III in 1245 and has the highest gothic vault in England (102ft). The oldest parts of the building date back to 1050.
