California Author Will Be Signing Copies of A Passion for Prying At The LA Times Festival of Books

April 21, 2011 - PRLog -- California Author, Nancy Mangano Will Be Signing Complimentary Copies of Her Book, A Passion for Prying, At The Los Angeles Times Festival of Books!!

The Los Angeles Times Festival of Books is being held the last weekend in April 2011 and author, Nancy Mangano will be there with her new book, A Passion for Prying. Mangano will be signing complimentary copies of A Passion for Prying on Saturday, April 30 at 12:30 PST in Booth 241, Section T3.  

Mangano was born in Lansing, Michigan and currently resides in Orange County, California. With a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications and an Associate in Arts Degree in Criminal Justice, she has woven her love of detective work into her passion for writing. Nancy Mangano was employed for five-years at the Orange County Sheriff-Coroner Department, which adds to the accuracy of A Passion for Prying.

A Passion for Prying is a mix of murdery/mystery, contemporary fiction, and women’s literature.  Follow private investigator Natalie North as she chases cheaters, crooks and attempted murderers while wearing high heels in this modern day work of fiction.

Natalie North works as a licensed private investigator in her father's Los Angeles PI firm, I Pry, Inc. Their specialty is adulterous partners. While no one can catch a cheating husband faster, and always in a great pair of high heels, Natalie aches to work a case of substance. When a murder-suicide takes place at a nearby diner, an intense desire to solve the case takes over Natalie's rational thought process. Thanks to Cindy Hutchins, Natalie's best friend, and Cindy's fraudulent, get-rich-quick scheme, Natalie gets her wish to work a gritty, felony attempted murder case. Unfortunately, after missing two bullets propelled her way, the case Natalie investigates is her own intended death. Toss into the mix Natalie's love quandary, torn between Darren McAllister, the hotshot LA Deputy District Attorney, and Jett Jaso, the hunky Hollywood actor, and Natalie's life takes on a deeper web of intrigue, danger and passion. Chasing cheaters, crooks and boyfriends, Natalie manages to juggle it all, and keeps you laughing through all her escapades.
