April 15, 2011 - PRLog -- In the latest intake of franchisees to the Auditel Cost and Purchase Management Franchise is ex-banker Doug Bralsford and ex-chartered accountant Stephen Sowerby.

When asked why they decided to join Auditel, Doug explained: “Class oozes from the business that has, and delivers, a quality offering.” Stephen said: “Auditel gives a unique mix of self-employment into a profession that matches my skills and experience, with the support of an organisation that has been around for 17 years.”

Auditel’s Head of Marketing, Laurence Knott confirms: “We are delighted at the continuing recognition of our offering by the industry. It gives confidence to potential franchisees in making an informed choice. Most also recognise the value of our cost and purchase management service in these challenging economic times. In fact, the number of franchisees in our network has increased by over 190% since 2005 and is now nearly 200 and our higher earners enjoy an income of over £200k.”

Doug and Stephen have just completed their training programme and are hugely appreciative of both the content and the trainers. Stephen enthuses: “The training and support on offer are second to none in helping you to establish and grow your own business.”

The Auditel concept was developed on the premise that all organisations pay for essential services. Utilities and telecommunications are two of those costs and when many essential service sectors underwent deregulation in 1991 it opened up these industries to competition. UK companies could shop around for the best prices from new providers entering the market.
The ever changing range of services available meant that many organisations did not know where or how to identify savings. The main problem is that few organisations have enough time or resources to track invoices, question charges and ensure quality of service from suppliers.
In 1994 Auditel was launched to offer a solution, a cost and purchase management consultancy that could focus independently on the essential services to cut through the confusion that UK businesses were facing.
Since this time Auditel has been training professionals into self employment and is now the leading cost and purchase management franchise.
