James McCullum – Lead Vocal & Keyboards
An experienced, seasoned and very ripe musician who brings with him a resume encompassing well over 40 years of hands on experience as a sound engineer and musician.
James has traveled around the world cultivating his talent, opening shows for some of the biggest names in music from the eighties and nineties. The bands that have touched our hearts, minds, and spirits. The bands that got us through the tough times, and the good times in our lives, marking our time in history. Bands such as Journey, Morris Day and Time, Graham Central Station, War, Edgar Winter, and the Marshall Tucker Band.
As a songwriter, James weaves words and music, designing a lyrical masterpiece. Once
placed with the one and only sound of the James McCullum Band, you have a song that people of all ages will be Rockin' to.
For the last five years, James has been working on that “one” Album that will Rock Your World. Like any 'REAL' Artist, you constantly work towards that one project that stands alone and has your signature.
The James McCullum Project Band members are equally talented musicians, some of the best that California has to offer.
Sam Gallo - Keyboards and Vocals
Sam, who hails from Chicago, brings his flair and style both on keyboards and harmonies. When he is not jamming on stage, he is running Sky Hero Productions. Sam's contributions to the band are second to none with style and patterns similar to James. When they are on stage together they complement each other, blending both talent and style which serves to intensify the musical magic they create.
Sam has become such as strong hook line writer, further adding to the quality of the song and making it even more powerful when vocally delivered.
John Cano, Bass and Vocals
John hails from the Bay Area and the Sacramento music scene, bringing to the stage a lifelong music knowledge setting the foundation of the James McCullum Project. He has brought his experience as a producer creating a production line that is unbeatable.
Tony Providence, Drums
Tony has toured around the world, playing with well known artists including John Legend, The Smashing Pumpkins, Allen Anthony, and The Band Called Pain. His heart pounding, hard hitting has such force, that it will set you back feeling the Rockin Beat of The James McCullum Band.
Matt Rowley, Guitar and Vocals
Matt comes from Sacramento. When he is not playing for the band, he is sharing his knowledge by teaching guitar to children and adults.
While contributing his talent to the band he has grown to be an incredible lyricist, and his guitar solos have become a trademark and strong foundation for the group.
