Kathryn Peacock Joins Partner Engineering to Head Phoenix Office

April 5, 2011 - PRLog -- Phoenix, AZ – Leading environmental due diligence firm Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. has established an office in Phoenix under the helm of veteran environmental scientist Kathryn Peacock, who joins the firm as Regional Manager, announced President Joseph Derhake, PE.

Working for many of the nation’s leading financial institutions and regional banks, Ms. Peacock has extensive experience in Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Phase II and III subsurface investigations and environmental transactions screens, across all property types. In addition, she has managed numerous asbestos and lead-based paint inspections as well as radon testing on projects throughout the Western United States.

Ms. Peacock, who has spent the majority of her 10-year career in Arizona, after graduating from Prescott College with a BA in Environmental Studies, has developed an intimate working knowledge of the environmental issues in the Western United States and of Arizona in particular.

“The State of Arizona has many distinguishing environmental features and conditions; such as dry wells and fluctuating groundwater levels, which may not be encountered in other parts of the country,” says Ms. Peacock.  “Also, the tremendous industrial growth experienced by Phoenix over the past 50 years has resulted in numerous soil and groundwater contaminant plumes. Familiarity with these sites is key in performing due diligence in Arizona,” she adds.

Ms. Peacock joins Partner from the Phoenix office of Ninyo & Moore where she held the position of senior project environmental scientist.
