April 5, 2011 - PRLog -- Los Angeles — Los Angeles-based American LegalNet, the premier provider of “Desktop to Courthouse” workflow technologies that reduce risk and minimize cost, today announced that they now offer fully integrated court rules sets for each Untied States District Court and United States Court of Appeals. American LegalNet is positioned to offer fully integrated state court rule sets in all 50 states by year-end 2011 for its eDockets product. eDockets is American LegalNet’s web-based docketing and calendar application that provides access to attorneys anytime, anywhere.

Fully integrated court rule sets incorporate all applicable rules for a given jurisdiction, resolving variations between federal and local rules to provide a single unambiguous deadline quickly. American LegalNet’s Federal Rule Suite is complemented by select fully integrated patent, trademark, bankruptcy and California federal judge’s rule sets. The Federal Rule Suite expands American LegalNet’s existing offering of fully integrated court rule sets for each county in California (including limited and unlimited jurisdiction, eminent domain, unlawful detainer, CEQA, appellate and Supreme Court rules) and fully integrated court rule sets in 23 of the most requested states.

American LegalNet has grown its court rule set development team to ten attorneys and five paralegals. In addition to being published in national law journals, American LegalNet’s attorneys hail from AmLaw 100 firms (Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP), Fortune 50 Legal Departments (The Walt Disney Company), top 20 law schools (Boalt Hall, UCLA and USC) and have federal clerkship experience.

“We expanded our team of attorneys and paralegals to accommodate the great demands of our clients and the growth of our eDockets client base,” said Erez Bustan, CEO and president of American LegalNet. “The continued and dedicated effort of the team will ensure we finish our court rule sets by the end of this year.”

In addition to eDockets, American LegalNet’s two other products are eFiling Portal and Forms WorkFlow. eFiling Portal standardizes the process of electronic filing with courts and agencies. Forms WorkFlow provides access to the most comprehensive library of federal, state and agency forms. eDockets works with both Forms WorkFlow and eFilingPortal to track, manage and distribute reminders related to forms and electronic filing based on the calendar and appropriate court rules.
