Acnodes puts spotlight on hi-res panel displays

The APW series showcases large, wide-screen, high resolution displays from 19 to 40 inch diagonals. All displays are framed with a 6mm aluminum bezel with 45-degree chamfer and have the option for IP65 sealed protection against dust and water.

March 31, 2011 - PRLog -- WALNUT, CA – Industrial computer and peripheral manufacturer Acnodes Corp. today announced a new line of large panel and wall mountable LCD displays that offer a wealth of value-added optional features such as touchscreen, quad display for closed circuit television, TV tuner, and NEMA4/IP65 ruggedization.
The APW series showcases large, wide-screen, high resolution displays from 19 to 40 inch diagonals. All displays are framed with a 6mm aluminum bezel with 45-degree chamfer and have the option for IP65 sealed protection against dust and water.
The APW5220 features a 22-inch diagonal1680x1050 resolution display. Brightness is 300 nits with a contrast ratio of 1000 to 1 and a fast 3.6 millisecond response time. The dot pitch is a sharp .28 millimeters. The only video input that comes standard is 15-pin VGA but there are options for DVI-D, BNC plus S-video, HDMI and TV tuner with remote controller. Resistive or capacitive touchscreen via RS-232 or USB ports is another option as well as quad display. Another available option is 12, 24 or 48 VDC external power supply in lieu of the standard 110/220 VAC.
Top of the wide screen line is the APW5400 with its 40-inch diagonal display with 1366x768 native resolution and is adjustable up to 1920x1080. The bright 450-nit screen has a contrast ratio of 4000 to 1 and 8 millisecond response time.  Rear video inputs include VGA, BNC, S-Video and HDMI with remote control. There is no option for touch screen on this model but there is an option for a TV tuner and quad display closed circuit TV function.
The APW5320 is a 32-inch diagonal display with 1366 by 768 resolution. The screen is rated at 450 nits and has a contrast ratio of 3000 to 1 and a 16 millisecond response time. Options include capacitive touchscreen with USB or RS-232 interface, TV tuner and quad display.
The APW5260 is a 26-inch diagonal display with 166 by 768 resolution. The 450-nit LCD has a 1500 to 1 contrast ratio and 16 millisecond response time. Available options include capacitive touchscreen, quad display and TV tuner.
The wide-screen APW line begins with the APW5190 which has a 19-inch diagonal display with 1440x900 resolution. Response time is an amazing 1.3 milliseconds for this 300-nit LCD with 1000 to 1 contrast ratio and .28 millimeter dot pitch. All the options available on the APW5220 are also available on the APW5190 including DC power adapters.
All units in the APW series include options for internal speakers and rear audio inputs as well as IP65/NEMA 4 ruggedization. While the displays can be panel mounted or mounted directly to the wall, each model also comes with pre-measured and drills VESA standard mounting holes.
